Grandview Credit Union Commits

$100,000.00 to the

Grandview Kinsmen Community Centre (See "PICTURES")

The  Grandview Credit Union Ltd. has been committed to support the community for 65 years. Mrs.  Harkness, long time Charter member of the Grandview Credit Union once said:

"The most important ingredient of the Credit Union is its people, people who believe in its philosophy, people who work for it, people who use it, critize it, praise it and share it. Let us not forget that the Credit Union movement was started as an idealistic attempt of people to help themselves and each other"  

The  directors who form the Board of the Grandview Credit Union Ltd, inspired by the same purpose and philosophy have historically committed over 50% of the Credit Union's net income back to the membership and the community.

  In 2009, they are proud to carry on the legacy and have, on behalf of the Grandview Credit Union Ltd., committeed $100,000.00 towards the cost of the Grandview Kinsmen Community Centre.  

What better way to celebrate people helping themseves and each other!
